Issue Date: | 2010 | Abstract: | Current progress in nanocomposites frontiers have incites innovative discoveries in both directions of applicable working models and comprehensive investigation of properties. Many studies emphasize on nanocomposites based organic material incorporated on metal substrate. Such nanocomposites are of interest due to tunable optoelectronic properties by their molecular arrangement. Up to now, however, synthesize of organic crystal on metal substrate are limited only to top-down methods. These techniques produce organic crystals that are immobile on metal substrate and thus laborious to further exploit. Here, we developed the first fabrication of (Au@Perylene-crystal)@PANI triple-layer structure via colloid synthesis. Through self-assembly, facile bottom-up manufactures of nanocomposites as building block was adeptly possible. Intermediate structures were observed by TEM and crystal growth mechanism was proposed based on Quasi Epitaxial Theory. Diverse application for triple-layer was demonstrated in simple drug delivery model. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/38910 | Schools: | School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
