Title: Automated shielding effectiveness test system for shielded enclosures
Authors: Foo, Chew Houw.
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Electric apparatus and materials
Issue Date: 1997
Abstract: Tests are carried out on shielded enclosures to determine their shielding effectiveness capability before they are commissioned. Such shielding effectiveness tests check whether an enclosure is sufficiently shielded from external electromagnetic interference. The tests also determine if the shielded enclosure is able to prevent electromagnetic radio signals (e.g. those generated during electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) troubleshooting activities) from leaking out of the enclosure.
