Title: | International electronic message service through micro-satellite | Authors: | Ma, Hui | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Wireless communication systems | Issue Date: | 1997 | Abstract: | The micro-satellite is a new species of small, relatively inexpensive and electronically sophisticated low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite. A digital store-and-forward communications technique is applied to it, allowing data files comprising messages to be stored on-board the microsatellite. These data files can be retrieved by other groundstations within the radio range, or later when the microsatellite passes over the destination. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/39015 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | NANYANG TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
