Title: International electronic message service through micro-satellite
Authors: Ma, Hui

Issue Date: 1997
Abstract: The micro-satellite is a new species of small, relatively inexpensive and electronically sophisticated low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite. A digital store-and-forward communications technique is applied to it, allowing data files comprising messages to be stored on-board the microsatellite. These data files can be retrieved by other groundstations within the radio range, or later when the microsatellite passes over the destination.
