Abstract: Due to the growing human activities in sonar environments, study of widebandsignals has been attracting increasing attention to the researchers. A corresponding need of efficient processing techniques for wideband signals is also being felt. Unfortunately, a limited amount of research work on this direction has been carried out so far, partly due to the computational difficulties involved in wideband processing.
