dc.description.abstractAdvancement in Wireless Network has totally revolutionaries the world and researchers around the globe are invigorating to acquire highest possible network speed. Increasing the speed of the Wireless Networks require a reliable solution for data transfer. The Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) of the channel is one of the major limitations on the operating performance. To enhance the performance, solutions in terms of coded data and error-correcting code have been introduced. Concatenated Reed-Solomon Convolutional code (RS-CC) [1] is one of the techniques used for this purpose. Reed Solomon (RS) [1] (outer code) in concatenation with rate-compatible punctured inner Convolutional code (CC) [2] is an FEC (Forward Error Correction) supported on both uplink and downlink of IEEE standard 802.16-2004[3].en_US
