Title: | Inductorless Rf receiver front-end circuits | Authors: | Sun, Shuo. | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Electronic circuits | Issue Date: | 2010 | Abstract: | This report is for the Final Year Project, Inductorless RF receiver front-end circuits. In this project, inductorless Low Noise Amplifier design is of emphasis. An inductorless low noise amplifier exploring noise cancelling technique is designed and simulated using Candence SpectreRF. A detailed design process is presented in this report. The designed inductorless low noise amplifier has 7.6mW power consumption. At 2.4 GHz it achieves a noise figure of 2.35dB. The LNA exploring noise cancelling technique has great potential to achieve NF even lower than 2dB. The low noise amplifier has S21 of 9.44dB, S11 of.-6.817dB, 1-dB compression point of -7.87dBm and IP3 of 3.06dBm. Detailed analysis on gain performance and noise figure is shown in this report. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/39504 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
