Abstract: This report is a summary of my final year project. The project title is design and development of a UHF (300MHz-3GHz) antenna array for digital TV signal reception. This project is proposed to explore and develop a low profile and light weight wideband directional antenna array. The antenna array is expected to operating at a center frequency of 538MHz with 15dB gain, 2% bandwidth and -15 Side lobe level. A single CBS (Cavity Backed Slotted) antenna is first fabricated and tested; later two antenna array following the similar design are fabricated to meet the requirements of high gain. In the past few months, I first use Ansoft HFSS to do the antenna array design and fabricated the antenna array later. The simulated and testing results are shown in the report.
