dc.description.abstract | With the development of technology, traditional 2D animation is soon becoming obsolete and children these days grow up not knowing of classical fairy tales and hence, are ignorant to the morals they bring. Red is a 2D animation short film which pays homage to the originally darker fairy tales, even before the Brothers Grimm’s Rotkäppchen and closer to Charles Perrault’s Le Petit Chaperon Rouge with a twist of humour and a little girl’s charm and her touch of innocence. The two morals covered in this short film are to never judge books by their covers, and to never underestimate girls, especially the cute ones. | en_US |
