Abstract: This report discusses how Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) technology can be applied to transfer partial discharge signals in power apparatus to ground based signal processing and decision making unit. Featured in this report is the Jennic JN5139 WSN Development Kit which provides a simple platform to study the feasibility of applying WSN technology on partial discharge signals.
