Title: A cloudy conundrum : a detailed report on the animation’s production process.

Abstract: This research paper is fundamentally a report on the techniques and processes that led to the completion of the animated short A Cloudy Conundrum, and the problems faced within the duration of the animation’s production, along with their respective resolutions. This paper is not a hypothesis in which a theory is supported or disproved. It is merely a detailed account of the story and production stages of the animation, with a greater focus on specific parts of production the author herself has contributed to. This reading may shed light upon the general process of producing an animation, being that most animations (and some live action films) have a standard, albeit non-linear, series of stages they have to go through before emerging in its final form. This is important to keep in mind when exploring the development of any animation, whether carried out by a well-established media conglomerate with a multimillion-dollar budget, or by five university students struggling to complete a final year project with pencils and a lot of paper.
