Abstract: This thesis deals with two related subjects: adaptive algorithms in signal processing and system identification in controls. The efforts of our work are focused on nonstationary adaptive signal processing and time-varying system identification. In the first part, we propose some new techniques for nonstationary signal modeling and time-varying system identification.
