Abstract: This report documents the study and development of the use of ultra-wideband (UWB) signals for breast cancer detection. A UWB signal is an electromagnetic signal used for transmitting information over a large bandwidth, usually over 500 MHz, and has wide industrial applications in the fields of security and healthcare. Over the past few years, there has been a growing interest in the use of UWB signals for early detection of breast cancer.
