One of the ways to achieve efficient spectrum utilization is to perform pre-modulation filtering on a continuous phase frequency shift keying (CPSK) modulation systems. In this project, the performance of a pre-modulation filtered FSK system with and without distortion will be investigated. To pre-modulate the FSK signal it is passed through different configurations of filter design. The performance criterion is based on the power spectral density efficiency and shape of the demodulated waveform.en_US
