Title: | Experimental comparative study of controllers for a DC-DC step-up converter | Authors: | Lee, Morgan Chun Jin. | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Power electronics | Issue Date: | 2010 | Abstract: | This report presents the design, implementation and control of the DC-DC boost converter. The details are described in the report. The boost converter system with its associated sensing and control circuitries was built. The feedback controllers implemented using analog devices are the proportional-integral controller and the multi-loop controller. A comparative study was carried out to compare the controllers’ dynamic performances and flexibilities under different operating conditions. Experimental results are also presented to highlight the features of each controller. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/41455 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
