Title: | Syntheses of bifunctionalized phosphine complexes via ruthenium promoted stepwise hydrophosphination, insertion, hydration, and hydroamination reactions | Authors: | Luo, Ding | Keywords: | DRNTU::Science::Chemistry::Organic chemistry::Organometallic compounds | Issue Date: | 2010 | Source: | Luo, D. (2010). Syntheses of bifunctionalized phosphine complexes via ruthenium promoted stepwise hydrophosphination, insertion, hydration, and hydroamination reactions. Doctoral thesis, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. | Abstract: | This thesis describes the asymmetric syntheses of bifunctionalized phosphine complexes, which contain a stereogenic center at phosphorus, through various reactions, including insertion, hydrophosphination, hydration, and hydroamination. Promoted by the coordination of diprop-1-ynylphenylphosphine to ruthenium, the two alkyne moieties thereafter were functionalized by different reactions, which thus led to the formation of a chiral phosphorous center. This strategy presented is valuable and can be widely used in the synthesis of chiral phosphines. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/41625 | DOI: | 10.32657/10356/41625 | Schools: | School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences | Fulltext Permission: | open | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
