Abstract: We are living in a period of rapid technological change in which the application of computers is transforming our lives. There is much talk of the 'information age' and the 'information superhighway.' Educational institutions across the world are under great pressure to produce independent and computer savvy students with critical thinking skills. This study researched the gender differences in attitudes and their implications on the use of computers in the classrooms.
