dc.description.abstract | The use of information technology (IT) is becoming increasingly important in education. For the past two to three years, with strong governmental support, Singapore schools are making great effort to tap on the advantages IT offers in education. Between 1995 and 1996, several projects were undertaken by the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) to investigate the integration of IT in the curriculum. Subsequently a Masterplan for IT in Education was launched by the Minister in 1997. | en_US |
