Abstract: All Science educational CD-ROMs strive towards the common goal of helping the learner understand and internalise scientific concepts. Increasingly educators are faced with a vast array of user interface in these CD-ROMs. They range from those with interface styles that influence learning to those that make learning Science fun and enjoyable. This diversity in interface design on Science educational CD-ROMs makes the selection of high quality CD-ROMs for use in schools a challenging task.
