Abstract: The objectives of this dissertation is to formulate, analyze and compare five multiplexing algorithms which are first-in-first-out(FIFO), round robin(RR), least time to reach bound(LTRB), most behind expected arrival(MBEA) and golden ratio(GR). We will first formulate the performance model and the traffic models, then data are collected and compared under several performance criteria.
