Issue Date: 2010
Abstract: Germs and diseases do not choose who to infect. They affect the lives of every living person. When our lives are interrupted by these unwanted foes, we have no choice but to seek medical attention. Regardless of our age, we find ourselves in need of healthcare facilities. Yet, in Singapore, there is no centralised website for basic information and directions to all healthcare facilities. This projects aims to make use of Google Maps to allow the general public to conveniently find their way to the available healthcare facilities by building a complete website. The Google Maps API was first explored. Hyper Text Markup Language and JavaScript were then used to build the website. This project has allowed a simple navigational website to be built and accessed by the public.
