Issue Date: 2000
Abstract: Fiber grating is one of the most important enable technologies in designing a WDM system. This project models the spectral performance of different types of fiber grating using coupled mode theory. The results will give us a better understanding of the performance of fiber gratings. The grating studied include uniform Bragg grating, chirped grating, apodized grating as well as sampled gratings.
