80年代新加坡华语戏剧营研究 = A study of the Singapore Chinese drama camp in the 1980s

Abstract

新加坡华语戏剧营由新加坡华语话剧团体举办，分别在1983年和1987年举办了第一届和第二届。这项大型戏剧活动是当时剧坛上的一大突破，邀请了外国与本地戏剧专家来为本地戏剧工作者和学生授课。戏剧营的成功举办也让80年代的华语剧坛有了积极的发展。本论文将结合戏剧营的相关资料和80年代前后的社会与艺术文化的语境，从而探讨戏剧营的源起经过，以及戏剧营的内容与专家指导对华语剧坛的发展起着怎么样的影响与意义。The first Singapore Chinese Drama Camp was held in 1983 and the subsequent in 1987, both jointly organized by the Singapore Chinese Drama Groups. This was a breakthrough in the Chinese theatre industry then as foreign and local theatre specialists were invited to coach the local theatre workers and students. The success of the camps had enabled the flourishing of the Chinese theatre in the 1980s. This thesis examines materials relevant to the Camps in lieu of the social and cultural context of Singapore in the 1980s, thus depicting its origin and how its content and the aid of theatre specialists affect the development of Singapore Chinese theatre thereafter.
