Its current way of manually generating question papers for its students – an integral part of its business – suffers from inefficiencies and leads to a drain on the economical and operational resources of the firm. This report documents the process of the project team in conducting a detailed and comprehensive analysis of the background and the issues contributing to the problems mentioned above. Through this process, the team is then able to effectively identify the fundamental business requirements of the client, and the problems faced in achieving these requirements. After evaluating the proposed recommendations and alternatives, the project team proceeded with an in-house development and deployment of a new software system for the client. Testing and evaluation is then also conducted to ensure that the new system meets all the requirement of the client and solves all existing problems. In addition, two full sets of instructional user manuals were also created to soften the learning curve.
