Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Computer science and engineering::Computing methodologies::Image processing and computer vision
Issue Date: 2011
Abstract: Sports broadcasting of football or rugby matches played in the day in some stadia occasionally suffer from overwhelming contrast between the sunlit and shadowed portions of the playing field. This project is intended to investigate software-based methods for automatically compensating for this contrast to improve viewing quality. The developed method needs to cope with moving cameras as well as adaptive coping with the camera auto gain.
