Abstract: Smart phone is a very common electronic device today compared to ten years ago. Mobile phone today is not just a device for calling and receiving phone calls, but it also acts as an informative and entertainment devices to the users. Capabilities of the smart phone equipped with advanced operating system such as Android and iOS just like a computer in ten years back. Phone users can freely download and install wide range of different applications into their smart phone. However, most of the users still do not realize the threats behind. The growth and development of the smart phones are not in line with the efforts put in its security and protection. Security issues among smart phone platforms are putting at lower priority which shows the same trend in internet development in the past. Therefore, it might follow the footsteps of internet that huge amount of money and property lost due to malicious intrusions.
