Issue Date: 2011
Abstract: The trend in creating of homemade videos is on the rise due to the increasing use of online media storage and publishing websites such as YouTube. One would prefer to do some simple video editing before publishing the videos. However, existing video editing software are either too complex or too costly for the average user. This project aims to develop a simple browser-based video editor with HTML5 and JavaScript, in order to aid novice to average users in editing their videos. This video editor makes use of HTML5’s Canvas tag and draws the video image to the screen while executing video editing effects on the frames.
