dc.description.abstractIdentifying places of interest that are nearby one's current location can be a difficult task. It is especially so when one does not have any prior knowledge of that area he/she is currently in. It is time-consuming and would often dampen one's interest in proceeding further if much effort is required to find out various locations of the places of interest. Through utilizing augmented reality, this project seeks to develop an interactive application that allows the user to obtain POI information through his/her iPhone‟s camera view. Furthermore, location simulation and interactive image gallery were additional features to create better user experience with the application.en_US
