dc.description.abstract | Digital transmission over noisy and possibly distorted channel is subject to bit errors in decoding. To overcome this problem, error correction coding is often used. Normally, the convolutional code and convolutional decoder are widely used to improve bit error rate in the communication systems. The maximum likelihood decoding is the optimal method. | en_US |
