Title: | Digital rights management system | Authors: | Otto, Charlie Nathanael. | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Computer science and engineering::Computer systems organization::Special-purpose and application-based systems | Issue Date: | 2011 | Abstract: | The advancement of network technologies has increased the number of illegal consumption, copying and redistribution of multimedia data. Therefore, a mechanism to protect media content from being illegally consumed, copied, and distributed is required. Digital Rights Management System, a technology that intends to protect the media content through digital licensing, has been developed to deal with these issues. However, there are still possibilities for people to manipulate unknown loopholes within the system to illegally consume media content. This matter has made it necessary to develop a mechanism to detect such illegal consumption. Thus an information log mechanism was proposed to be developed on the current Digital Rights Management System. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/44220 | Schools: | School of Computer Engineering | Research Centres: | Centre for Multimedia and Network Technology | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
