Abstract: My work is a documentary on my parents, in it I study the relationships and try to understand the uniqueness of them as individual and examine the familial bonds that ties them together. This work started from a series of work documenting the changes around my neighborhood. My neighborhood is undergoing renovation where the old structures around my home is removed and replaced with new ones construction sites appear and disappear without my ability to control at an almost blinding pace, the world before one is always changing, never remaining the same for even a minute or a day. Nothing here is permanent. I grew up in this neighborhood remembering every bit of what it once was like, an attachment was formed, but helplessly the memories of such place disappears. And cease to be of any significant to anyone. Therefore in order to make sense of these changes I delve into a series of images documenting the changes and constructions that appear before me. In this age of transient relationships I sought to find shelter in the one place I am in control a place of permanence, which is my home.
