Title: Understanding and engineering an intelligent swarm.
Authors: Lee, Chong Eu.
Keywords: DRNTU::Science::Physics
Issue Date: 2011
Abstract: In this project we simulate a swarm of robotic agents that has simple programmed actions, very limited data processing capabilities and only able to communicate with other agents that are in their proximities. We explore two fundamental problems: (i) gathering, and (ii) foraging, and measure the performances of the swarm in terms of gathering time and foraging time.
