Title: | On nothingness : examining the nature of nothing. | Authors: | Lee, Kwok Onn. | Keywords: | DRNTU::Visual arts and music::Visual arts | Issue Date: | 2011 | Abstract: | What is nothing? Is it possible to express nothing visually? I entered this project attempting to create a definite definition as to the nature of nothingness. After extensive research and introspection, the futility of the endeavour dawned upon me and instead I moved the project to focus on the process of thinking and meditating about nothing. Eventually, the project took on the form of a book that examined the nature of nothingness as a series of meaning and perspective layers that the mind flits around in. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/44998 | Schools: | School of Art, Design and Media | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
