Design theories from journals and references were covered in order to understand the design procedures and the essential formulas required to design the filter. Matlab software was used to calculate the formulated formulas for the desired filter design and also the Advance Design System (ADS) software was used to design the filter using the results obtained from Matlab and also to simulate to filter frequency response.
