Abstract: In Singapore, concrete bored piles (CBP) are commonly used in various construction projects. The CBP is constructed by drilling the ground until a desired depth and concrete are cast into the drill hole to complete the pile. However, during the casting, phenomenon such as necking and bulging can happen due to ground condition or human error.In the Civil field, there are many ways in checking the integrity of the piles. One such tests, is the Pile Integrity Test (PIT) that will be discussed in this paper to determine the damage location and the ability to quantify damages.
