Abstract: The world’s population has been growing and producing various types of waste at an enormous rate. This has significantly increased the reliance on the landfill especially in the densely populated countries. Therefore, landfill reclamation is vital solution for the sustainable urban land management. In addition, land reclamation also reduces the spreading of contaminants, leading to a more sustainable environment. Yet, there are only a limited number of people who have experience in this field, hence creating a need for a knowledge based decision support framework that tailors for different landfills reclamation.
