Authors: Yan, Yan
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Integrated circuits
Issue Date: 2011
Abstract: This final year project is about the VLSI implementation of a neuron. It introduces the development of silicon neuron and presents the circuit of Axon-hillock for the Integrate-and-Fire model. On the aspect of neuron, the function and the operation of a nerve cell are talked about. And the electrical operation such as the power supply and the concept of action potential is also mentioned. On the aspect of circuit, the Ingrate-and-Fire model for neuron is talked about. And the analysis of the circuit with the help of the simulation software Cadence is presented.
