Issue Date: 2011
Abstract: There is an increasing research interest in leader-follower multi-agent control formation system, where the follower will follow the leader and maintain a formation in a specified shape. In this project, the author will simulate the formation of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) in Unreal Engine. The inputs to Unreal Engine come from LabView, which contains the algorithm and the controls to the UAV. Wireless transmission delay will be simulated via Omnet++ and the delay will be introduced to LabView. From the simulation, it proves that the transmission delay doesn’t affect the UAVs getting into its formation.
