Title: | Blind channel identification approaches in wireless communications | Authors: | Lai, Yoke Yong | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Wireless communication systems | Issue Date: | 2004 | Abstract: | In order to improve spectral efficiency in wireless communication, blind and semi-blind methods for channel identification, equalization, and demodulation have been proposed. Consequently, the training sequences may be excluded, and more information symbols may be transmitted within a frame. Blind methods allow for tracking fast variations in the channel, and re-acquiring operational conditions using only information symbols. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/4550 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
