Title: Blind channel identification approaches in wireless communications
Authors: Lai, Yoke Yong
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Wireless communication systems
Issue Date: 2004
Abstract: In order to improve spectral efficiency in wireless communication, blind and semi-blind methods for channel identification, equalization, and demodulation have been proposed. Consequently, the training sequences may be excluded, and more information symbols may be transmitted within a frame. Blind methods allow for tracking fast variations in the channel, and re-acquiring operational conditions using only information symbols.
