Title: A testbed for DECT transceiver design
Authors: Lau, Kian Koon
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Electronic circuits
Issue Date: 2000
Abstract: This report discussed the implementation issues pertaining to the design of the DECT Transceiver. It will also include a budget analysis of the system. In Chapter 1, the DECT standard will be discussed. In Chapter 2, the receiver architecture will be discussed and also a brief description of the single conversion technique used by National Semiconductor. In Chapter 3, the design issues for the transceiver will be discussed. This include the direct modulation transmitter, demodulation and PLL . In Chapter 4, the modulation methods and issues will be studied and presented. In Chapter 5, budget analysis is performed for the transmitter , the overall gain and gain compression is also studied. In Chapter 6, a budget analysis is also performed for the receiver chain.
