Abstract: The Sudoku is one of the most popular puzzle games that appear in hundreds of newspapers every day. Nowadays, it has gone beyond the papers and being implemented as a software game for several devices. It requires some little brainwork to give a feeling of satisfaction, without taking up huge amounts of time. This project aims to design a Sudoku game for a mobile platform. The game will be tested on Symbian system and the project including the Sudoku board generation algorithm and the game interface design. The project makes use of Sun Java Wireless Toolkit (WTK) as a simulator and the programming language is JAVA. The report will include the detail description of the Sudoku board generation algorithm, game interface development and the implementation the game on a mobile device.
