Title: | Performance testing of a solar-driven ejector refigeration system | Authors: | Tham, Liting. | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Control and instrumentation | Issue Date: | 2011 | Abstract: | Low temperature heat energy is the energy generated by heat with temperature between 80–150°C, which is easily available from sources such as automobiles, industrial processes, geothermal and solar energies, etc. One way to reuse the waste heat energy is to convert them into cooling by means of either mechanical compressor-based cooling or non-mechanical cooling systems. Steam ejector refrigeration cycle is a favorable non-mechanical cooling scheme which relies on heat as their prime energy without fossil fuel consumption, therefore, is a good candidate for produce cooling economically. In this project, student is requested to test the performances of solar-driven ejector refrigeration system under different boiler temperature, evaporator temperature and critical condenser pressure, etc. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/45653 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
