Issue Date: 2011
Abstract: The purpose of this project was to create an user interface that perform ―cut and paste‖ on digital photos, as photos can be easily taken anywhere and anytime. Moreover, most people would like to ―cut and paste‖ their photos automatically and not manually using Adobe Photoshop or similar software, and they do not have a knowledge of the Adobe Photoshop and MATLAB, hence, unable to edit their photos. In order to design and build this ―cut and paste‖ user interface, research on the theories of digital image processing was done. With the knowledge from the research, and many testing and comparison, a MATLAB program listing was written and implemented onto the GUIDE. All the research and testing results were shown and discussed in the later chapters of this report.
