dc.description.abstractInformation explosion starts with the booming of information technology in the past decades. Demands for efficient content management and effective data dissemination are increased to cope with the fast expanding web content. In this project, a robust data dissemination system is developed for smart data collection and management in a cost effective way. This report presents the whole development cycle of this smart data dissemination system, from system requirement analysis, to system modeling, system implementation, system testing, as well as system maintenance. General descriptions of Content Management System (CMS) and Data Dissemination System (DDM) for effective information management are provided. Based on project requirement, the system is designed on three-tier architecture. Various web database application tools are studied and used in the development process. User panel and admin panel, which are designed to fulfill the system functionality requirements, are described in detail. Security measures and backup facilitates are also presented to ensure the robustness and maintainability of the system. At the end of the report, conclusions and recommendations are made for the further system development in the future.en_US
