The modern world is not able to visualize a world without buildings, glass, electronics, electricity, telecommunication, synthetic bones and body parts, space research or even without steel as modern iron, steel metal production would be impractical without refractories. This project is a study of ceramic materials such as ceramic jewels, and their applications in the ancient days and modern days, capacitors, insulators, dielectrics, ferroelectric materials, piezoelectric materials, ZnO varistor and their industrial applications. This report also includes the El Nino La Nina environmental conditions. Advanced ceramics can be designed and engineered to solve many problems or challenges, the world facing today.en_US
