Abstract: In this dissertation, 2 classes of popularly used pitch shifting algorithms are studies, namely the time-domain synchronous technique, and the frequency-domain phase vocoder techniques. These techniques have been known to be effective on pitch shifting of speech signal. This project therefore extends their implementation to wide-band audio signals.
