dc.description.abstract | This project attempts to review the analysis of applying a higher order alphabet size on cellular CDMA signal under multipath fading currently published in the literature. The modulation schemes investigated are BPSK, QPSK and 16-QAM. Their receivers output signal-to-noise ratios are derived and compared. When the signal-to-noise ratio is derived, the average probability of bit error for each modulation scheme could be obtained and compared. The results show that the application of a higher order alphabet size in CDMA signals does not lead to improvement in the performance. | en_US |
