dc.description.abstractIncreasing used of highly workable superpla st i ci zed con-crete in the construction industry demands a need to measure its consistency. The slump test is found to be unsuitable for concrete having a slump of more than 170 mm. Measurement of high workability concrete using the German standard DIN 1048 flow table is the only alter-native, but its validity and accuracy is in doubt as being pointed out by investigators Dimond and Bloomer. A new test is devised to assess the bulk property of flowing concrete being subjected to vibration.en_US
