Title: | Design and construction of precision-twin resistance probe manometer | Authors: | Liu, Chang Yu Ng, Kok Loon |
Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Mechanical engineering | Issue Date: | 1985 | Abstract: | This project investigates the potential of using two depth probes for measuring pressure differences. The emphasis of the design is on the capability to measure low-pressure differences, accurately, at low cost. It is found that the output voltage is linearly proportional to the difference in pressure. With an alternative arrangement in which the tube is sealed air tight, comparatively larger pressure differences can also be measured. A multitube manometer, using the same principle, is also designed and tested. Favourable results are obtained. | Description: | 65 p. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/46637 | Schools: | School of Mechanical and Production Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
