dc.description.abstract | Three aerosol generators with different configurations and dimensions were designed, fabricated and tested. It is found that the particle size depends largely upon the dimension and shape of the container in which the atomizers are installed. The dependence of the particle size on the inlet compressed air pressure, atomizer tilt angle, size of atomizer hole and temperature are observed. The flow rate is directly proportional to the total area of the atomizer holes. | en_US |
