Title: Impact behaviour of thin-walled structures
Authors: Lu, Guoxing.
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Mechanical engineering::Mechanics and dynamics
Issue Date: 1994
Abstract: This report describes some investigations into the impact and collapse of thin-walled structures. These involve the assessment of the energy absorbing characteristics of structures under both static and impact loading. In general, structures dissipate energy by plastic bending, stretching and tearing. The project has disentangled some specific aspects of this complex process.
